By accessing or using IdiomBridge™ ("the Service") at idiombridge.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

IdiomBridge™ is an online language learning platform that provides idiom translation, cultural education, and language study tools. The Service is provided as-is and may be updated or modified at any time.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at idiombridge1@gmail.com.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

When you purchase a Pro subscription you are purchasing a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use IdiomBridge™'s features and content. You are not purchasing ownership of any software, content or intellectual property.

• The free tier includes limited access to core features as described on our pricing page.
• New users receive a 10-day free trial of full Pro access.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our 30-day money-back guarantee.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting idiombridge1@gmail.com. This applies to first-time purchases only.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy or reproduce the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

All content, design, code, copy and materials on IdiomBridge™ are the property of IdiomBridge™ and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without express written permission.

IdiomBridge™ uses artificial intelligence to generate translations, cultural context and educational content. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all AI-generated content is error-free. Content should not be relied upon as professional linguistic or cultural advice.

IdiomBridge™ uses artificial intelligence (AI) systems to generate translations, cultural context, grammar analysis, quiz questions, pronunciation feedback and other educational content. In compliance with the EU AI Act, we explicitly inform you that:

• Content including idiom translations, cultural deep dives, grammar explanations, example sentences and learning exercises is generated by AI
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• You are interacting with an AI system, not a human expert
• IdiomBridge™'s AI systems are classified as Limited Risk under the EU AI Act

We encourage you to use IdiomBridge™ as a learning companion and to verify important linguistic or cultural information with additional sources.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason (the Withdrawal Period).

However, by completing your subscription purchase and immediately accessing Pro features, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed or once you begin accessing the digital content.

By checking the agreement box at checkout and immediately accessing Pro features, you explicitly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal before accessing any content, please contact us within 14 days of purchase at idiombridge1@gmail.com and we will process a full refund.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. IdiomBridge™ does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdiomBridge™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
